LTX Ripple: Edit One Frame and Ripple It Through the Whole Video

LTX Ripple is a First Frame All Frames IC-LoRA for LTX-2.5: edit the first frame and the change propagates across the whole video while motion and timing stay intact.

LTX Ripple (Hugging Face) is a First Frame All Frames (FFAF) IC-LoRA for LTX-2.5 by WepeNerd. You edit the first frame of a video in any image editor, and the LoRA propagates that edit through the rest of the clip while keeping the original motion, timing, camera movement and unchanged content intact.

How it works

The pipeline is deliberately simple:

  1. Input your source video.
  2. Edit and replace its first frame (in any image editor).
  3. LTX Ripple regenerates the rest of the video around that edit.

A brief description of the change helps, but the LoRA can work without any prompt at all. Because LTX-2.5 already understands the source video's motion, the edit "ripples" outward: effects stay attached to objects through camera cuts, materials wrap correctly around geometry, and swapped characters keep following the original performance.

What it can do

The model card demonstrates a wide range of applications, all driven by a single edited first frame:

  • Adding special effects (fire, liquid, lighting)
  • 3D model re-texturing and archviz texturing from clay renders
  • Style change, including changing the style of only one actor
  • Light source and time-of-day changes that the scene reacts to
  • Character attribute changes, outfit swaps and face swaps
  • Background and weather changes
  • Title or logo replacement
  • Object addition, removal and replacement
  • Sharpening or blurring

ComfyUI usage

The recommended strength setting is 1.35. Increase it when the edit is not carrying through strongly enough; decrease it when the output starts changing content that should stay the same.

The default workflow prompt is:

Use the reference video for motion, timing, camera movement, composition, and unchanged scene content, while consistently propagating the visual edit established in the first frame throughout the video.

For difficult edits, add a short description of the changed first frame (the new lighting, object, material, style or background) so the model knows what to keep consistent.

Limitations

The first frame is the sole control signal, so a sloppy edit produces a sloppy video. Very large changes, heavy occlusion, fast motion, or content that never appears in the source video reduce consistency. Results also depend on the LTX-2.5 checkpoint, resolution, frame count and available hardware.
