MiniMax H3 Looping Sketch Anime LoRA: Hand-Drawn 2D Style Loops

Inner-Reflections released a MiniMax H3 Looping Sketch Anime LoRA on August 11, a style adapter that turns H3 video generation into hand-drawn 2D anime sketches with a looping feel. It targets the FL2VA video path, so generated clips carry H3's native synchronized audio along with the sketch look.

What it does

The LoRA applies a consistent hand-drawn aesthetic: rough, textured outlines, minimalist flat-color shading and white outlines, with motion that reads like a looping 2D animation rather than a photorealistic video. It works on the FL2VA checkpoint of MiniMax H3 (text-to-video and first/last-frame workflows).

How to use it in ComfyUI

The weights are a standard safetensors LoRA on the MiniMax H3 architecture, and MiniMax H3 has native ComfyUI support, so no custom nodes are needed:

1. Download minimax_h3_looping_sketch_anime_v1.safetensors from the model repository into ComfyUI/models/loras/.
2. Add a LoRA loader to your MiniMax H3 FL2VA workflow and point it at the file.
3. Use a LoRA strength between 0.75 and 1.25 for most applications; if combining with a turbo LoRA, you may want to increase the strength further.
4. Recommended prompt prefix: "A hand-drawn 2D anime art style characterized by rough, textured outlines, coloring technique is minimalist, utilizing flat colors and white outline". Remove "anime" from the prompt for a more western sketch style.
