LTX-2.3 Clean Plate IC-LoRA: Remove Subjects from Video in ComfyUI

Lightricks has released the Clean Plate IC-LoRA for LTX-2.3, a video-to-video LoRA that removes people, pedestrians, vehicles, and other unwanted subjects from a video clip and reconstructs the empty background behind them — all without requiring a mask.

What It Does

The Clean Plate IC-LoRA is designed for full-frame subject removal in video production and VFX workflows. Given a video clip with moving subjects (people walking, cars passing, etc.), the LoRA generates a "clean plate" — the same scene with all moving subjects removed and the background naturally filled in.

Key capabilities include:

• No mask required — unlike traditional inpainting tools, the Clean Plate LoRA works directly on the full frame, automatically detecting and removing moving subjects
• Architecture and infrastructure preserved — buildings, ground markings, foliage, and static scene elements are kept intact
• Runs as a video-to-video LoRA — directly in ComfyUI with the standard LTX-2.3 IC-LoRA workflow
• Based on LTX-2.3 — leverages the LTX-2.3 base model's strong video understanding for coherent background reconstruction

How It Works

The Clean Plate LoRA applies the IC-LoRA (Image-Conditioned LoRA) architecture developed for LTX-2.3, where a LoRA adapter modifies the base model's behavior conditioned on the input video frames. The model is trained to recognize and remove moving foreground elements while inpainting the background with temporally consistent content.

The single LoRA file (ltx-2.3-22b-ic-lora-clean-plate-1.0.safetensors) is loaded as a standard LTX-2.3 LoRA in ComfyUI and applied in a video-to-video workflow.

Usage in ComfyUI

The Clean Plate IC-LoRA works with the standard LTX-2.3 video-to-video workflow in ComfyUI:

1. Load the LTX-2.3 base model
2. Load the Clean Plate IC-LoRA via a LoRA loader node
3. Connect your input video as the source
4. Run video-to-video generation

The model is available on Hugging Face (gated — requires accepting the LTX-2 Community License).

The Clean Plate IC-LoRA is released under the LTX-2 Community License and is available as a gated model on Hugging Face:
